The third annual American Water Summit is set to take place at the Intercontinental Chicago O'Hare Hotel in Rosemont, Illinois on November 14-15, 2012. And, as a member of the Alliance for Water Efficiency, the summit organizers are offering AWE members a 10% discount off the registration fee.

For the first time the American Water Summit will host the American Water Awards. Shortlisted entries will present their achievements, and the attendees will vote for the winners in an exciting finale at the gala dinner. Categories include Utility Performer of the Year, Partnership Performance of the Year, Technology Project of the Year, and Environmental Project of the Year.

Confirmed speakers include Jeff Sterba, CEO of American Water; Bertrand Camus, CEO of United Water; Jes Munk Hansen, CEO of Grundfos North America; Barbara Bennett, CFO of the Environmental Protection Agency.
