Find below a link to a recent AWWA Streamlines article (3/2/10, Vol 2, #5) that highlights a new technical report from AWWA's Water Conservation Division.  The report, one of four 2009 Technical and Education Council-funded project reports, recommends standardizing definitions of water customer types and classifications, and investigating the use of conseration indexes for indoor and outdoor use of benchmarking.
