Does anyone have information on the impct of home garbage disposals: (a) Increased water use compared to home without disposal (b) Impact on wastewater traetment facilities I am looking for water volume or cost impact. Any information is helpful. Thank you in advance.

- In Namibia and South Africa the device is fortunately not utilised - I cannot assist you but I can - as a water engineer just shudder at the impact on sewage purification plants of all the ground matter that needs to be handled. If it could be kept out of the waste water system the plants would immediately be cheaper to run. On the other and the solid waste dumps would have a bigger load...
