The Water Efficiency and Conservation Symposium
We are excited to host our first annual AWE Symposium, August 2 - 3, 2023! The Symposium will be hosted at the Chicago-Kent College of Law, 565 W Adams St, in downtown Chicago, Illinois. The Symposium will be a time to gather and meaningfully connect with members from across the AWE network. Together, we will celebrate our collective successes and look ahead to what's next in the water conservation and efficiency space. The Symposium will feature a mix of presentations, panels, and roundtables, with a primary focus on actionable research and resources and peer-to-peer learning for water efficiency and sustainability professionals.

AWE members are AWEsome. We believe everyone has something to contribute. We believe learning should be fun and is best advanced through interaction with ideas and people, not through one-way presentations. Everyone is encouraged to be active participants in the Symposium.
Discover a new way to conference through discussion-based, reflective, and hands-on/minds-on sessions. Don’t worry - you’ll find some traditional session formats, too. Join and grow your network of colleagues and friends to learn, challenge, and collaboratively make our impact stronger.
The Symposium will offer a variety of dynamic sessions delivering both the results and the journey.
Proposed Core Program Topics Include:
- Behavior Change
- Commercial, Industrial, and Institutional Water Use
