The Nexus Between Water Efficiency & Stormwater: Lessons and Opportunities to Drive Innovation

This webinar is cosponsored by EPA’s WaterSense program and the Alliance for Water Efficiency. Deb Lane, Water Resources Analyst with the City of Santa Rosa, will share the results of an innovative landscape retrofit project at the City of Santa Rosa’s City Hall campus and discuss how the urban landscape provides a unique opportunity to address challenges of both water quality and supply. The City Hall Sustainable Education Garden features green infrastructure elements including bioretention, swales, the use of permeable concrete, a rainwater harvesting system, extensive turf conversion into a low water use sustainable landscape and interpretive signage throughout the project.
