Christine Chavez has over 15 years of experience in water rights administration and energy and water conservation program management in the state of New Mexico. Christine is the Water Conservation Manager for the City of Santa Fe and is a certified Energy Auditor with the Building Performance Institute, Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor with the Irrigation Association, Qualified Water Efficient Landscaper and WaterWise certified to audit restaurants, hotels, shopping centers and medical facilities. She was the recipient of the 2023 Alliance for Water Efficiency Water Star Award, and serves as the President of the New Mexico Water Conservation Alliance.
